Funny how...

Funny how $10 looks so big when we take it to the Gurduara, but so small when we take it to the shop.

Funny how long 1 hour is when we are serving in the Gurduara, but how short when watching TV.

Funny how laborious it is to read a page of Guru Granth Sahibji, but how easy to read 200 pages of a best selling novel.

Funny how we believe what the newspaper says, but question what Guru Granth Sahibji says.

Funny how we need 2 or 3 weeks to fit a Gurudwara programme into our schedule, but have no problem adjusting for a social event at the last minute.

Funny how we get thrilled when a football game goes into extra time, but are
irritated when a Gurduara programme is longer than usual.

Funny how we scramble to get a front row seat at a sporting event, but scramble to get to the back row at the Gurudwara.

Funny how difficult it is to share the God's word with others, but how simple it is to spread rumors.

Funny, isn't it? Or is it funny at all?
