Reaching Out and Giving Blood

USSA held their second blood drive this year at the Parson Blvd. Gurdwara in Flushing, New York, on June 30.

The blood drive was inaugurated by Baba Thakar Singh of Damdami Thaksal, who was incidentally visiting the Gurudwara.

Five volunteers collected 18 pints of blood and 20 samples for bone marrow. Local Sikh high school students also volunteered, passing out snacks and juices.
